Girls on track are an exclusive event for girls aged between 13 years to 25 years, who will undergo a Karting Slalom Competition. A Karting Slalom Competition is a two-day event per city, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday (Refer schedule for race in your city), starting from 10 am to 6 pm and conducted at a course laid out in a karting track or a car park in a mall or in a college. The participants need to pay a small amount of money to register. The Karts that will be provided for the event are recreation race Kart Chassis’s fitted with GX 200: 4 Stroke Honda engines.
The racers will be given 2 laps to practice and get familiar with the karts before competing for 2 laps on the set course on their own (Note: There will be no racing against another participant). The 2 laps will be timed and the girl with the fastest time will be declared as the winner.
The Top 6 winners in each city totaling to 18 along with top 3 from Sri Lanka and Nepal will be invited to take part in the National Karting Championship ladies class which will run along with the Indian National Karting Championship event. The Karts that will be provided are Sodi recreation race Kart Chassis’s fitted with GX 200: 4 Stroke Honda engines.
All the participaents will be given certificate of participation and the Top 3 winner of each city will be given medals / trophies.
The top 12 talented girls from this race will be invited to a professional 2 day training program in the professional race karts using the Praga Chasis’s and the IAME X30 engines. They will also undergo a Fitness program as well as an educational program on Motorsport.
These 12 girls will then be offered a slot in the 2020 Girls On Track Class in the Indian National Karting Championship which will comprise of 3 rounds in the Praga Chassis with the X30 IAME 2 Stroke Kart engines.
The top 3 girls will be selected to attend a Racing Academy program with the Meco Racing Academy in the Formula LGB 1300 Cars.
